Joe's Run

This all started when a message was read on a newsgroup by Dave Urquhart which asked for help in organising a surprise 90th birthday ride for Joe DelMeastro who lives in Dyce Aberdeen. Dave responded by e-mail   to Richard and Tanya and organised a posse of Harleys to visit Joe and to give him a ride.

Dave plus Angus Wing,Fred Henderson Charlie and Grace Mackenzie and Sandy Milne all turned up. We were greeted by his family and then Joe was guided out only now aware of what was planned. He shook hands and told us his last bike was a '37 Hunber which he gave up to get married.We took Joe for a short run on Angus's Road King. The  on the road pictures below were taken by Joe's Grand-Daughter, Tanya, while she rode pillion with Dave. The group were then invited to share a beer and some food with the birthday guests which was well appreciated.
