The turn of the year is always a quiet time for the HOGNORTH community but it’s the time plans get made. Not much to say at this point but keep an eye out for events that will be taking place soon.

At a guess I’d say the Pre-Season dinner will be a starting point but no definite details as yet. John Milne will most likely be organising charity rides in Turriff on May Day and the Bad Boys Ballater Bash will be a definite. Watch this space.

Christmas Party

The North Christmas Party was held in December 2007 at The New Inn, Ellon where around 36 of us had an excellent night to mark our 10th anniversary. Again feedback was good on the location and event so it’s hoped we can repeat the “doo” next year.

HOGNORTH

With the wider remit of the “club” HOGNORTH has expanded from the original link with Dunedin HOG to become an all inclusive Harley community. We still have strong historical links to Edinburgh in our roots but we welcome any Harley rider. We have people who are Geordie HOG Chapter members, Clyde Valley HOG members, Hong Kong Chapter etc. We also have those who are HOG members but not associated with any HOG chapter. Several members are Harley Davidson Riders of Great Britain members and some can’t be arsed joining anything.

An unofficial patch is available for those HOG members in the North with no affiliation to any chapter but wants an identity. The name associates the group with the famous "Northern Lights" but it should be emphasised this NOT a HOG chapter. See DaveU for details.

Spark Plugs

Just been browsing around some of the links and was reminded of the reference site for spark plugs for HD models if you want to go "non -HD"
