February Meeting

A busy and lively meeting with around 20 people there AND.....a few bikes despite the chill. The chatter was about the coming months ahead and plans for the summer with various options all round.

European HOG Rally

Plans are in place for the ride to Italy with Crawford ahead of the game having booked some accommodation. Final numbers are yet to be determined but yours truly looks to be set for Pizza land at the command of she who must be obeyed.

Dunedin Shop

I was on my way to Edinburgh one Sunday to take my daughter to cricket training (yes you heard right) and had some spare time so popped into the shop. I have to say it's looking very impressive now, as it was jam packed with bikes. Brian welcomed me in, I got my brake pads and he handed me the latest catalogue of parts without a bat of an eyelid. I took great pleasure in relating this to Sandy Milne who had a bit of a battle getting a copy at another dealer and was asked to pay £7.50 for it. If you want the full story ask Sandy.

I had a quick browse at the clothes and quickly decided I could wait until my next visit stateside before buying any Harley goods.

Looked at, sat on and promptly decided a VROD wasn't for me. It's apparently made for an alternative market ......just as well as I don't like it.

2003

Seemed an age away last year but its fast approaching! 5 of the North crowd have already organised bikes for a 4-week tour of the USA taking in the celebrations at Milwaukee. Ron Balliet is frantically working out a route heading over to the west coast then working back to Milwaukee. At least one more of our crowd is hoping to join the 5 and a few bikes will be joining us on the tour from various parts of the USA.

Monthly Meetings

The group meets on the first Wednesday of every Month except January at The Red Garth Hotel, Kirkbrae, Oldmeldrum at around 7.00pm
